u14 Blues vs Chorleywood Tigers U14 County Cup semi final

The Blues were sensational for large parts of this match, dominating from the start and playing with imagination and desire that has been missing in recent weeks. The first goal was a wonderfully worked team goal which started with Bella playing out from the back and interchanges with numerous players before Niamh smashed a looping shot into the top left corner. 1-0. The Belles in full control now and pressing for the second. It came way of Freya who picked up on a loose ball in the box and neatly slotted home for 2-0 HT.

The second half was another dominent display and the style of football was a joy to see. The next goal was a wonderfully executed strike by Freya who dribbled in from the right hand side of the box and curled the ball into the top left hand corner. 3-0. The icing on the cake was a well deserved goal from Annabel who judged the flight of the ball from a corner and stabbed home to make it 4-0.

A great display from the Blues who deservedly go through to the County Cup final to take place on April 27th at the County Ground in Letchworth.

POM was Lilly for a powerful midfield display.
