The U10 Blues have been together since April 2022 when a mixture of players from our U7-U8 Development Squad and a couple of new enquires came together to form the basis of our fantastic team.
We have been playing in the Hertfordshire Girls Partnership since September 2022 and are now in our third season following two very enjoyable and productive seasons in Minis at 5-a-side. The girls are really excited for 7-a-side and more playing time!!!
We ended last season in the U9 White Division where the more competitive teams play. The coaching team are really looking forward to seeing the team go from strength to strength in the 7-a-side format. Our photo gallery highlights the fun the girls have every session.
Since Phil first brought the team together it has grown with Sarah supporting with fixtures, Alex becoming our social secretary and Neill, Nicco and Paul coming in as coaches to help develop our talented group of players. Ryan, an experienced coach with Letchworth Eagles boys team, has recently come on board to focus on developing goalkeeping across the U10 age group.
The U10 Blues train on Thursdays between 7pm and 8pm at The Priory School in Hitchin.
In May 2024 Coach Paul organised a successful tour down to Dorset which we aim to repeat in summer 2025.
