From humble beginnings, the club has grown organically, defying expectations and breaking barriers. With over 620 registered players across teams ranging from Under 6s to adults, the speed and scale of success has been breathtaking.
What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is the philosophy that underpins us as a club. We like to think that our commitment to the FA’s “Respect” campaign and our proactive approach to player wellbeing, including the introduction of female wellbeing ambassadors, truly sets us apart.

For years, the Belles navigated the logistical hurdles of finding pitches and competing for facility slots against established boys’ and men’s teams. However, a pivotal partnership with The Priory School in Hitchin, which became our dedicated home ground in 2020, has been instrumental in our explosive growth. This collaboration, along with grants for pitch improvements and a 3G all-weather training pitch, has created a hub where female football can truly flourish.
